How to restart or shutdown your CasaTunes Music Server using the CasaTunesX App

If your CasaTunes system is having issues, try restarting it. CasaTunes will attempt to correct issues it detects on startup. To restart or shutdown CasaTunes using the CasaTunesX App, follow these steps.

If you are having an issue with your CasaTunes system, try restarting the system to see if a restart resolves the issue. If the issue persists, or re-occurs, then please submit a Support Ticket.

To restart or shutdown your music server using the CasaTunesX App (Android, Apple or Web) follow these steps:

  1. In the Rooms or Now Playing screens, tap the three vertical dots in the screen header to display the menu options for that screen
  2. Scroll down and select the Help menu option
  3. Scroll down and select Reboot Music Server
  4. Now tap on the Reboot or Shutdown button, confirm, and then wait for the operation to complete

Note: If you are not using the CasaTunesX App, we recommend you install the CasaTunesX App from the Android and Apple stores. The CasaTunesX App is now the recommended App for  CasaTunes.

If you are unable to connect to your music server using the CasaTunesX App, you can manually power down the music server by following these steps.
