Using the CasaTunes Apps for Android, iOS and the HTML 5 browser App, you can easily share the music you are listening to in one room with other rooms, as well as move the music from one room to another. To do so, we use the Group Rooms feature in CasaTunes.

For example, to share the music you are listening to in the "Office" (see figure below):

1. Press on the room name in the App header to bring up a popup menu
2. Select "Group Rooms" from the popup
3. All rooms that can be grouped with the Office are displayed. To share the music playing in the Office with another room, select the room. If a room is part of the group, a checkmark is displayed. Selecting the room again, will uncheck the room, and the room will no longer be grouped.

Grouped rooms are simply rooms that are powered on and share the same source. When you check a room, CasaTunes simply powers on the room, and switches the source for the room. When you uncheck a room, CasaTunes powers off the room.

Note, that when you group rooms, the name of the original room is updated to display the number of other rooms grouped with it. In the example above, the room name has been updated to "Office + 2", indicating there are 2 other rooms listening to the same music as the Office. These being the Cabana and Porch.

To move the music from one room to another, simply group the room you want to move the music to, then ungroup the original room.

Changing the volume for grouped rooms

You can quickly change the volume for grouped rooms, by pressing on the volume button in the App header. You can either change the volume for an individual room, or you can change the volume for all grouped rooms at the same time using the "Master Volume" control.
