Listening to Spotify requires either a Spotify Premium (or a Spotify Family) subscription. A Spotify Family subscription allows each family member to listen to their own playlists and favorites.
Setting up Spotify for CasaTunes is a 2-step process. In the first step you provide your account credentials for your Spotify Premium account. The second step requires authorizing CasaTunes so it can access your Spotify Premium account.
We recommend you create your Spotify account using a separate username and password. If you use your Facebook account to create your Spotify account, you will need to setup a device username and password that is associated with your Facebook account. To do this login to Spotify using your Facebook credentials and view your Spotify Account details, where you will find the option to Set device password and follow the instructions. You will need to enter the device username and password as your credentials in the CasaTunes App settings.
After CasaTunes has verified your Spotify credentials, you must Authorize the account. When adding multiple Spotify accounts, make sure you enter the correct credentials for the specific Spotify account you are adding. Typically you will need to sign off the current account, and sign in to the new account when prompted to authorize CasaTunes.
