If you already have an amplifier, choose the CasaTunes XLe Music Server. By integrating our advanced DVD-audio quality multi-room hardware switch along with the CasaTunes Software, the CasaTunes XLe Music Server has the capability to output high quality stereo music in up to 12 rooms (expandable to 48 rooms). Complete the installation by adding two or more multi-channel amps, like our own CasaTunes XLa 12 channel amplifier, and speakers of your choice.

Preloaded with our industry recognized CasaTunes Software, simply power up the music server, answer a few simple startup questions, and start enjoying all your favorite music throughout your home, all in just minutes!

Selecting your music has never been easier than it is with the CasaTunes. You can control the server from our free apps for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad or Android phone app and tablet app; you can use any supported web browser on any PC or Web device, such as the Nokia N810 or a Netbook, on your local network; or you can opt to install our CasaTunes Keypads in each room.

The XLe Music Server ships with five built-in music internal sources, with each internal music source capable of playing music from your iTunes Plus collection, music stored in Windows Media Player, as well as music from an iPod, iPod touch or iPhone,TuneIn™ Radio, SHOUTcast™ and Internet Radio. Additionally, the CasaTunes XLe Music Server has four external sources. Each external source can be used to listen to AM/FM tuners, XM or Sirius satellite radios, CD Players or multiple other external sources.

The CasaTunes XLe includes input and output triggers for advanced functionality Including support for controlling access to shared speakers in a Home Theater, doorbell and whole house paging integration.

The music server comes pre-installed with a 1000GB (1TB) hard drive. Using the default settings, your music server can store over 6800 albums or 80,000 songs, of very high quality music that is virtually indistinguishable from the original CD. Of course, you can change your settings to use Windows Media or iTunes lossless formats (which will reduce the amount of songs you can store), or you can use one of the standard compression iTunes, Windows Media or MP3 formats, and store over 200,000 songs on your music server.

The Music Server includes 7.1 on-board HD audio that is independent of CasaTunes (not controlled by CasaTunes). The 7.1 HD audio can be used as a separate surround sound output in the room where the Music Server is located. The Music Server also has VGA, HDMI and PCI video outputs.
