The CasaTunes Russound® Kit adds PC based music and the great CasaTunes PC user interface to an existing Russound multi-room sound system
The kit includes a high fidelity 8 channel sound card that gives you 4 PC based stereo sound sources. The sound sources can play music from iTunes or Windows Media Player on your computer or other PCs connected to the LAN that the server is connected to. Also, plug in an iPod, iTouch or iPhone and play music through the Russound to any room in your house. You can even listen to TuneIn Radio and SHOUTcast internet radio stations. With CasaTunes you can listen to any combination of four of these music sources. If you wish, you can also use your PC's on-board audio outputs to add even more sources (limited to the number of input sources on your Russound system).

4 or more sources of music. Four sources are supplied by the included sound card. Your PC's on-board audio chip can supply more sources, easily configured in CasaTunes Setup. Modern PCs have high quality, high definition audio outputs that sound fine when used with good quality hardware from Russound and CasaTunes.

The Russound system can be controlled by the CasaTunes user interface on any LAN connected PC in the home, including Apple® computers
CasaTunes music can be controlled with the Russound keypads and CasaTunes metadata, such as song titles, artists names, etc, will display on the keypads.
