Wiped the XLi server and installed a clean WHS.  Two issues (so far)

1) Windows Home Server does not have a “My Music” folder, so I created one and added it in the registry which appears to work since it now shows up in the CasaTunes setup process (iTunes sync).  Still, all I have is Internet Music and when I switch to select music from Windows source, and click “Refresh Library”, no MP3s show up (I put a few test ones in the My Music directory everywhere I could find a “Music” folder).  Anyone know how to get the MP3s to show up?

2) Install fails when MSI is trying to install the Windows service (Web service is installed fine).  It get’s a 1603 error so I went into Windows Services >> Windows Installer, and change the login from System to Administrator + password.  This helps the install finish but in the log, it fails to register a couple components (the long GUID strings) though everything starts fine.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks a bunch!

Hi Mike,

For question 1)  Do you have Windows Media Player on your WHS?  You need to run Windows Media Player then refresh the CasaTunes Library in order for CasaTunes to see your Windows Music.
