Before installing CasaTunes the first time you should go to the Windows Network and Sharing center and make sure you have the correct type of network picked. For example: in your home you would normally pick Home network. If you are using your server in a restaurant, you might pick Public. Then, when you install CasaTunes the first time it will place exceptions in the Windows Firewall to allow remote connections. If you change your network type later, you will need to go into Windows Firewall and enable CasaTunes for “All” (or just change it to the new type, Public or Private). Home and Work use the “Private” settings in Firewall. Public uses the “Public” settings.
