Windows 7 and Vista are configured the same.
Some things you might want to be aware of:
- Check your “Sound” window (right-click the speaker icon in the right end of your task bar and select “Playback Devices”). If the CasaTunes Multi-Room audio devices are set to default, either click on the “Sounds” tab and change the sound scheme to “No Sounds” OR set another audio device, like the on-board audio) to be the default player. This will prevent computer sounds, such as the Windows Startup tune, from being played through the speakers in your rooms.
- If you are running CasaTunesSync on other computers in the house, go to Network and Sharing center in your new server and then go to Advanced Network Sharing. Turn off password protected sharing.
