Service starts and stops automatically

Hi,
I have XLi installed on my PC with windows 7 ultimate, when I installed Casatunes from the supplied CD it gets stuck on the setup part, when checking, I found that the service was stooped, I tried restarting the service, but it starts, and then stops?1? can you please help
I cant save the diag file as the system allows only photos?!?

Problem was due to a compatibility issue with Spotify which is not supported in Egypt.  Added the line <add key=“SpotifyEnabled” value=“false”> to the AppSettings section in C:\Program Files\CasaTools\CasaTunes2\CasaTunesSvc.exe.config file resolved the issue.

We are looking into this issue for a better solution.

Thanks for the excellent support, now it’s working fine but when I plugged my headphones into any of the zones on the back of the card I hear the music distorted and very low

Hi Marzouk,
What is the brand and model number of your headphones?
Some headphones are low impedance, presenting the same load as a normal speaker, approximately 8 ohms. If these headphones are low impedance that would explain the problem, since the zone outputs are “pre-amp” type outputs intended to drive amplifiers and other high impedance devices.

Kim, I used my mobile (HTC Desire ear phones) I don’t know the impedance, but I will try a higher impedance head phone and update on that when I get home smile
But would that explain the poor quality and deformation of the music, or only the low sound quilty?

After much testing, we have found that our cards (XLi and XLe) do not work in the new Gigabyte motherboards designed for the “Socket 1155” 2nd Generation Intel Core processors. As a result, we are now recommending that customers not use these versions of Gigabyte motherboards.
