Hello Kelby,
That is definitely not normal behavior.
I will get in touch with you via private mail to trouble shoot this problem.
In the meantime, here are some things to check (if you are uncomfortable with doing any of the following, we can help):
o Make sure you have a clear WiFi channel. In my own home, I found that I was getting interference from a next door neighbor’s strong signal. Try going into your WiFi AP, change the channel assignment from Auto to Manual and set it to the lowest channel, then the middle channel and then the highest channel to see if any of them work better. In the US, those channels are 1, 6 and 11. The channels in between actually overlap adjacent channels, so it is best to just use those three choices. There is an excellent android app, called “WiFi Analyzer” by farproc, that shows you the signals in your home. Just download the app to one of your phones, turn on the phone’s wifi and run the app. You will see all the WiFi Access Points in the area and yours should be strong and at least 20db above any others.
o Make sure you have the latest version of CasaTunes on your music server. The latest can be found at http://www.CasaTunes.com/downloads.
