I an looking at installing a 12 zone casa system with the touch screen server and the customer is very un imprest with the zone keypads.  Is there any other keypads or small touch screens I can use and maintain meta data to every zone?

That is the only keypad we sell at this point. Make sure the customer sees the keypad in action. We have received compliments from end users after they have used the keypads, because they are so easy to use and are very powerful.

Another option is to suggest to your customer to use iPod touch(es) for remote control(s) using the CasaTunes app for iPhone. It is up on the app store and works with the latest production build of CasaTunes.

Any chance we will see a dual-gang version of your keypad with a larger display in the future? I happen to like the looks of the single, I would just like to see more information and maybe a couple more buttons.

They are definitely in our future plans, but we have some other items ahead of them.
Would you pay more for color screens? Touch screens?
Or would a well designed monochrome keypad along the lines of the current single-gang (with more functionality) work?
We get a lot of users commenting about the ease of use of our current keypads and the surprising amount of functionality without touchscreens.

No, I like the monochrome blue back-lighting on the current keypads and don’t see a need for multi-color or touch screens. For that I can use an iPod or MediaCenter PC. Just a larger display with some additional hard buttons.

Thx.

Smotany,
Please re-register. If you have any problems doing this, send an email to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
To answer your question, which also was inadvertantly was erased from the forum:

Yes, you can use the NuVo o-led keypads if you use CasaTunes to control a NuVo controller. We are testing the color touch screen.
(and, your grammer was very good, by the way grin )
