Hello,

I have CasaTunes running on a Windows 7 machine. I want to save CasaTunes configuration from this machine and then install Windows Home Server and re-install CasaTunes. Please let me know what all are the CasTunes configuration files that I need to backup and restore (so that I can skip CasaTunes setup process)?

I was thinking just the ‘CasaTunesSvc.exe.config’ file.

Thanks,
Raj

David should probably add to this, but I think the most important item is the Config.xml in C:\ProgramData\CasaTools\CasaTunes\2.0.0.0 folder. It has all of your zone and source names, wakeup times and a lot more of the setup stuff. The config file you mentioned is important only if you manually changed something in it to solve a problem (unusual).
You are running our hardware so you don’t have to worry about a license key, but anyone else that might read this should remember to deactiviate their license on the old machine.

Sorry, ignore my post. I found it. I was looking under Program File instead of ProgramData.

That’s ok Raj. Just for other’s information:
config.xml, which is used to store all the setup configuration data, is in folder:
c:\Programdata\casatools\casatunes\2.0.0.0

Since Programdata is a hidden system folder, you will need to change the Explorer settings or just type the whole path into Windows Explorer and it will show up.
