I suspect that in CasaTunes set-up that the sources are not set-up properly.  Open up the CasaTunes set-up program.  Then you need to make sure that source type picked is the CasaTunes Player in each source.  Then that the speakers chosen are the Speakers “Speakers (CasaTunes Multi-Room Audio)” in all of the sources.  Next select which speakers to use:
Source 1=Speakers 1&2 (Front Right/Left)
Source 2=Speakers 3&4 (Rear Surrounds)
Source 3=Speakers 5&6 (Center/LFE)
Source 4=Speakers 7&8 (Side Surrounds)
